Tony Sims OBE
Tony Sims OBE is a senior leader with over 40 years’ experience at the interface of government and business. Tony is skilled bringing multiple stakeholders with competing interests together to build trust, consensus and partnerships and create long term solutions, strategies and programmes that deliver value for everyone involved. He is experienced as a facilitator and chair, both in the UK and internationally.
Tony held internationally-focussed Senior Civil Servant roles across the UK Department for Business and Trade and the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, including as Deputy HM Trade Commissioner to Europe and as Director, British Business Embassy London 2012. He has represented the UK as a diplomat in Germany and at the European Union, World Trade Organisation, UN and OECD. He has deployed his skills as a flexible and creative problem solver in sectors including education, creative, financial and professional services and agriculture. Tony has led corporate change programmes and has a track record of building high-performing teams.
